Adelaide Central Market

The Adelaide Central Market is the best market in Australia. The Queen Victoria Market had great claims for years, but Adelaide now has the right blend of fresh produce, quality fruit and vegetables, great cafes, good coffee, fresh bread, things to take home and things to eat there.

The breakfast options start with Lucia's and end with the the Big Table. You can snack anytime in between, and then lunch could offer anything.

The only limitations are the lack of decent Asian food inside, although Charlie's Kitchen serves great soups just outside the market proper.

Forget about the Adelaide Festival or the Fringe Festival. Keep visiting the Adelaide Markets. It is the tourist attraction of the city, and the cultural highlight of South Australia.
