Lots of hype about the Fremantle Markets, but they don't compare to their eastern states rivals. The surrounds are beautiful and the atmosphere lively, but the produce doesn't quite stack up.
Visit the French creperie, the baker or even the Kebab house or continue through the markets to the fruit and vegetables. The fresh fish is quite good as is some of the produce upon entering the Market. But altough the Fremantle Markets are a tourist attraction waste your time in Fremantle at Gino's, Little Creatures or along the docks rather than in the markets, save them up for a trip to South Australia.
