a tempting taste from Krispy Kreme

The sweet smell of fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts travelled far and wide three months ago on a Tuesday bringing delight to business owners along Princess Hwy in Noble Park. An employee from Carpets Choice was ecstatic. Swept away by the hype associated with the opening of the first Krispy Kreme store in Melbourne she among family and friends had set out on a three-hour public transport mission to FountainGate only to find the store still under construction. Meanwhile an unexpected delivery to Brighton Medical Clinic had the receptionist team gushing. Coining the original glazed treat the ‘designer doughnut’ the women suspect success for any potential Krispy Kreme store opening up in Brighton. It seems the popular label and fashionable green spotted design will complement the boutique businesses and coffee hot spots along Church Street splendidly. Well there is no longer any need to wait with the first store newly open in Fountain Gate (with more soon to follow) and certainly wasn’t for the lucky ladies of Noble Park and Brighton who went home from work that Tuesday two months ago with a couple of boxes of the highly sought after doughnuts.
