Late Night Dining

For any foodie, dining at irregular times is an incredibly satisfying experience. The patterns of Argentina or Spain vary greatly from the traditions of Australians with the highlight being late night dining.

Instead of dinner at 7pm, restaurants fill up at 9-10 at night with friends and families eating enormous amounts of meat and consuming glasses of red wine. In Australia there are a number of places that offer similar dining adventures. Supper Inn, a Chinese restaurant hidden away in Melbourne's China Town offers congee and a full Chinese menu throughout the night. This is one of the gem's of Melbourne's eating world and not to be missed by any hungry foodie. Yak Bar and Food and the Melbourne Supper Club are other Melbourne late night institutions. Also try the Hideout and other cafes on Brunswick Street, the Panama Supper Club on Smith Street or Sydney Road.

Buenos Aires has a number of restaurants that offer incredible late night dining. Sucre, Burzako and Lomo are all great options. But the highlight of Buenos Aires eating is to wander the streets late at night and find a little restaurant or hole in the wall that is packed with happy diners. Avoid Puerto Madero in this endeavour.

More late night dining highlights will follow.
