Krispy Kreme opened on Thursday June 22 at Narre Warren to much media and public fanfare. The Age published several articles before the launch, including a news piece regarding a group of irate parents alarmed at the excitement generated within schools through charitable selling of the doughnuts. Epicure got in on the act, sending Chris Johnson to investigate. And the public did not disappoint.
The first Krispy Kreme is at Narre Warren North Road, Narre Warren. The store is open 24 hours a day. One of the few stores in Australia where Krispy Kreme's trading hours are not set. The Krispy Kreme Fountain Gate store offers boxes of original doughnuts as well as a selection of falvoured doughnuts. Feelin' Foodie will provide a further menu in time.
Feelin' Foodie has been curiously following the Krispy Kreme Sydney Airport and Krispy Kreme Melbourne crazes from afar, including a story from a deliverer.
It will be interesting to watch how this city that prides itself on culinary sensitivies embraces the Krispy Kreme franchise. The signs so far have been that they love them.

omg waited so long for them and they wernt even that good they make u feel real sik after eating them mostly the ones with cream in them; but my fav is the strawbery ones there yummy as but onli wen hot

i have first tasted krispy kreme in america and now here but its quite far from the place i live
they r just delicious
