After a great meal at the Chairman and Yip, we passed by Gus's Cafe to check out the nocturnal movements and check up on the hot apple pie.
The soy chai was fantastic but the notable happening was occuring at the neighbouring table. The four guests looked like normal University Students, but obviously had more spark than the average economics major, as they each ordered something different from the breakfast menu at 9.30pm. For some reason I kept thinking about Helen Garner's Joe Cinque's Consolation. Bacon and eggs didn't look as appealing under lights.
Another reason to visit Gus's Cafe.
