Opening to mixed reviews, this gelataria in the city expands choice for Melbourne foodies.
Lix Gelato is on Chapel Street and Melbourne Central. The Melbourne Central location is a great spot for gelato during summer. Order a couple of scoops and cross the road. Lying on the grass outside the State Library is a great way to relax and watch the city folk hurtle past.
The Gluttony Blog is generally less appreaciative of Lix Gelato, although Pui Kia does recommend the lemon.
I found the bacio and lemon delicious and loved the location. Definitely worth another visit, although since Trampoline have moved into the city Lix might lose out to the gelataria that sells the gelato experience.

I am working in Lix gelato its self..As the management changed recently few months ago, the quality of ice cream has dropped. The guy whio use to work as ice creame maker left the job. The new owner is a chinese lady who dont know any thing about gelatos. She uses cheap products because of which the ice cream is not so good and healthy
