
After years of frequenting Minh Tan 2, Pacific House has become the restaurant of choice on Victoria Street. Perhaps it is the timeless roast duck that hangs in the shop front. It could also be the crackling pork and the roast chicken. Or maybe the reason I return is the mud crap on noodles with ginger and shallots, or the silky scallops with bean curd. Whatever it is, Pacific House is loud, busy, cramped and delicious, the way Vietnamese food should be enjoyed.
